‘Handaan (each named Salu-Salo, Banana Ketchup and Chichirya)’ are my food-related responses to the exhibition title. Each works correspond to a stage of my life; adulthood, teenage years & childhood. Filtered through a 2nd-life/Sims rendition of myself, each work ties together Filipino dishes, condiments and delicacies with Self-Identity and the coping mechanisms of the digital space as well as food.
